The christening

Now some people may think I'm crazy for having a birthday party one weekend and then a christening the next and in some ways I agree with them.  However I decided to have them both separate because I think it's nice to have different parties for the occasions. The christening didn't take much organising because I didn't have a big party afterwards. I didn't have to spend all that money on a hall, decorations, food etc or have the added stress of sorting it all out. All I had to do was book the church, do the invitations and book Jimmy Spices, yes Jimmy Spices. I told everyone if they want to come and carry on the celebration we would be going out for lunch and they paid for themselves.  Genius I hear you shout well not really I stole the idea from the very smart Kammy who after my beautiful godaughter Jai'la's christening we all went to a delicious Chinese restaurant.

The service was performed by Father Oliver at All Saints Church in Small Heath. It was a beautiful service and Zaynah didn't cry when the water was poured over her head.
